Who I Am

emmysHello! I’m an Emmy Award-winning news executive with 20+ years of journalism and management experience in local newsrooms across America. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest, where I’m an Assistant News Director at a local television news station – a role in which I lead the daily editorial news operation of a staff of more than 80 experienced journalists in producing more than 50 hours of live broadcasts each week in a top 25 media market.

I also earned my Executive Master of Broadcast Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri while working full time leading a newsroom. My goal has always been to best utilize my lifetime of leadership experience to empower others to better understand and simplify our rapidly-changing world through the power of storytelling, communications, relationships, and shared information.

When I’m not inside the newsroom, I can be found traveling the world, competing in marathons and triathlons, and expanding my vinyl music collection!
